History
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is celebrating 100 years of providing mentors to children. A grand centennial celebration was held in New York City in June 2004. As part of the celebration, NBC's Today Show host, Matt Lauer, was presented a copy of our new book, "Little Moments, Big Magic."
The Davie County branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters opened in November 1999. During the past eight years, the program has grown to serve more than 100 children per year. Our headquarters in Winston-Salem was established in 1977.
