Our Mission
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters Services is to be a community leader in helping children to develop and reach their potential. We accomplish our goal through the establishment of long-term mentoring relationships.
According to the 2000 census, more than 670 children in Davie County live in single-parent families. And there are others being raised by a grandparent or other guardian. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children develop confidence, competence, and caring in order to reach their potential.
No other formal organization currently exists in Davie County that provides mentoring relationships for children.
